What a find!
We stayed six nights at Bert’s Bungalow early April and enjoyed every minute. This is a beautiful bungalow with everything you need for a cosy, comfortable break. An easy walk to Saundersfoot with lovely shops, coffee shops and restaurants. You can also walk to Amroth or drive to many blue flag beaches. Fran, who owns Bert’s Bungalow goes the extra mile. As well as communicating in a friendly manner, she leaves a welcome pack. When we accidentally left behind two pairs of glasses, she arranged for these to be posted to our home address. Thanks Fran. We’ll be back!
Beautiful bungalow, very clean, location perfect short walk to beach and main centre. Everything you needed or wanted was there for conveniance… dishwasher, washing machine, Netflix, iron, hairdryer.. .everything was provided to make your stay perfect. Girls loved a TV in their bedroom…which was great…as I could watch my movies in the lounge. I would highly recommend Berts Bungalow for your perfect stay x
This was an amazing place to stay. It was close to the beach, which is gorgeous!! The bungalow is perfect and the host left amazing starter pack and ideas on activities and places to eat! Also – amazing beds and off road parking is always superb. We will definitely be booking for a return event.
Fantastic seaside accommodation
Bert’s Bungalow is absolutely fantastic. Fran and Kul have really gone the extra mile. The cottage has been refurbished beautifully and there are so many well thought out little touches to enhance your stay. I had the most amazing long weekend exploring Saundersfoot, Tenby, the Lily Ponds, Barafundle beach and more. Such a beautiful bungalow and the perfect place to explore Pembrokeshire from. Highly recommended.
Excellent experience, booking was easy with clear instructions and lots of extra information on what to do when you get there, The bungalow was easy to find using Google maps, and the neighbours are wonderful everyone said “Good Morning” when you go for walks. The bungalow has plenty of kitchen equipment if you wish to self cater. There is a folder packed with all the information you need to operate the oven or washing machine etc… I found this very helpful. The beach was a short walk away and the shops and pubs are very clean and modern looking, there are plenty of decent eateries nearby or a telephone call away. Overall excellent experience 👌 would recommend 100%
Perfect stay
Berts Bungalow was exceptional for the décor, amenities, quietness and particularly the WIFI signal (for the children and teenagers), with a fully fitted functional modern kitchen & modern shower all completed to a high standard. We had all we would have expected at home and had a great family holiday. The beach is only a 10-15 min walk from the bungalow adjacent to the town centre. Many local attractions are within driving distant plus a regular local bus service is available to Tenby from the town centre.
Fantastic accommodation
We loved this accommodation. It is very modern and in a great location. Our host Fran could not have been more helpful and was in contact during our stay ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Have stayed in Saundersfoot several times now and would definitely recommend this property.
Bert’s Bungalow was perfect for our four night stay in Saundersfoot. We needed somewhere accessible and warm with easy parking. Fran was really helpful in providing information before our stay and checked in with email whilst we were there. The bungalow is well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was easy to explore Saundersfoot and surrounding areas from such a comfortable base. We hope to return.
Have just got back from another glorious week at saundersfoot and Bert’s bungalow. As always it was spotless with everything you would need. What was the icing on the cake was having our daughter and family next door in Edith’s cottage. It worked really well and will probably do it again. We have already booked Bert’s bungalow again for September.
Perfect holiday
My partner and I spent 3 relaxing and very pleasant days at Bert’s bungalow. Everything was more than we could expect. It felt like home from home. Very comfortable bed in a large bedroom and an amazing shower. At the same time, we were also very impressed with the rest of the house, spotless kitchen and lounge which had everything we needed. We loved the fact that Bert’s bungalow was in a very quiet spot and that with only 10 minutes’ walk we could reach Saundersfoot bay, pretty village with an amazing beach, tracks for lovely walks, shops, pubs, restaurants, supermarket etc. so everything you need. Francesca was very informative regarding the surrounding area and made everything so easy (starter pack with ideas on activities, places to see and where to eat, really really helpful). We would surely like to return and recommend to our friends.
Bert’s Bungalow is beautifully kitted out and so homely. A tranquil feeling and tastefully furnished, we particularly loved the colour scheme and all the upcycled furniture. The bungalow was spotless when we arrived with a Welcome Pack of milk and Welsh Cakes as well as tea, coffee etc. There was plenty of info available before and during our stay from Fran, a message on our arrival to welcome us was so thoughtful.
Perfect break
We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Bert’s Bungalow. The bungalow is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the beds are very comfy. The bathroom features an amazing shower! Perfectly located to explore Saundersfoot and the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast.
